Supporting Ethnic Minority Police Staff for Equality in Race (SEMPER) Scotland is the primary staff association that exists to support and represent all minority ethnic employees on issues of equality in race, and to ensure that the Scottish Police Authority and Police Service of Scotland uphold the principles and practices of racial equality.
SEMPER Scotland is committed to inspiring a diverse and inclusive workforce that fully represents the changing demographics of Scottish communities to underpin policing and criminal justice that are essential for a safe and secure society in a flourishing nation.

The organisation is run by an executive committee made up of members of staff from various ranks and levels within the service.

Scottish Police Muslim Association (SPMA) is an organisation dedicated to supporting Muslim Police officers & staff and existing as a bridge between the Police service and Muslim communities.
The SPMA aims to build a strong, inclusive and cohesive working Relationship between the Police Service of Scotland and the diverse Muslim communities, across Scottish in the Development and delivery of services, support, policies and Practice that demonstrate equality, dignity, respect and nurture a positive understanding and acceptance of faith Diversity and tolerance for all citizens and staff.
Established in 2003 the Scottish Women's Development Forum (SWDF) was a working group of the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland. Upon creation of Police Scotland the SWDF became a diversity staff association. Our aim is to assist and support Police Scotland and the Scottish Police Authority to provide a positive working environment which enables everyone to reach their full potential.

The NTPA exists primarily to provide support to serving and retired Police Officers, Police Staff and Special Constables with any gender identity issue including, but not exclusively, Trans Men, Trans Women, people who identity as 'Transgender', Androgyne or Intersex.
Also the NTPA will give support to people who identify as Cross Dressers. The NTPA further aims to provide support to all serving and retired police officers, police staff and special constables who are dealing with people with a gender identity issue whether that person is a colleague, family member or a member of the public involved in a police matter.
The NTPA also exists to represent the views of its members on matters of policy within the UK police service concerning Trans Police Officers, Police Staff and Special Constables and to assist in and encourage their recruitment retention and progression within the Service.
The NTPA aspires to speak for the wider Trans Community on Police related matters and to help foster better relations between the UK Police Service and the Trans Community as a whole.
The GRTPA is a support network for Police Personnel who are from a GRT background. The GRTPA's main aim is to unite and support all Police Officers and Staff who are from GRT background. The main aim of the GRTPA is the desire to foster good relationships between the Police and GRT Communities. We aim to do this by facilitating discussion, negotiation and co'operation between UK Police Forces, GRT communities and organisations. In doing so, we will establish a platform for sharing good practice in working with GRT Communities.
Founded in 1883 by Catherine Gurney, OBE, the Christian Police Association now has branches in the majority of police areas in the United Kingdom as well as maintaining links with similar groups overseas through the International Christian Police Fellowship.
