Chief Inspector Alexandra Marshall is the Local Area Commander for Renfrewshire and has responsibility for policing across these local areas.
Renfrewshire is one of two area commands in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde division.
Priorities

Area Commander and localities
Chief Inspector Alexandra Marshall is the local area commander in charge of the response officers, community officers, and officers from the criminal investigation department working in the individual localities. They all respond to calls in the area and deal with local issues. The area command is made up of local wards which are:
- Renfrew North and Braehead
- Renfrew South and Gallowhill
- Johnstone South and Elderslie
- Johnstone North, Kilbarchan, Howwood and Lochwinnoch
- Houston, Crosslee and Linwood
- Bishopton, Bridge of Weir and Langbank
- Erskine and Inchinnan.
- Paisley East and Central
- Paisley North West
- Paisley South East
- Paisley North East and Ralston.
