Inverness
Inverness is one of six area commands in Highlands and Islands division.
Priorities
The priorities for your area are decided by data from our strategic assessment which details threats and risks, and also from feedback from local authorities, partners, and residents in the Your Police survey.
- Road safety and road crime
- Serious organised crime
- Crimes of theft and dishonesty
- Antisocial behaviour, violence and disorder
- Protecting vulnerable people
- Terrorism and public order.
You can read more information about how these priorities are decided and how officers work with the local council and partners to improve your community and address these issues in the Highland Local Policing Plan (Easy Read PDF version).
Area Commander and localities
Chief Inspector Judy Hill is the local area commander in charge of the response officers, community officers, and officers from the criminal investigation department working in the individual localities. They all respond to calls in the area and deal with local issues.
You can also follow your local team on Twitter where they post about how they are policing your community.
