Glasgow South West is one of nine area commands in Greater Glasgow division.
Priorities
The priorities for your area are decided by data from our strategic assessment which details threats and risks, and also from feedback from local authorities, partners, and residents in the Your Police survey.
- Antisocial behaviour and disorder
- Homes being broken into
- Violent crime
- Drug dealing/drug misuse
- Littering/Fly-tipping.

Area Commander and localities
Chief Inspector Derek Johnston is the local area commander in charge of the response officers, community officers, and officers from the criminal investigation department working in the individual localities. They all respond to calls in the area and deal with local issues. You can contact your local Community Policing Team by clicking on your area below.
