Cowal, Bute and Helensburgh is one of three command areas in Argyll & West Dunbartonshire
Priorities

Area Commander and localities
Chief Inspector James McArthur is the Local Area Commander in charge of the Local Policing Teams who provide a full range of community based policing services to the various localities in this area.
The officers in these teams respond to calls in their area and deal with local issues. Where required they are supported by specialist officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and the Road Policing Department who are also based locally.
