Your community policing team

Call 999 in an emergency

Call 999 if:

  • someone is in danger
  • violence is happening or likely to happen soon
  • you need immediate police help

Find out how we can help you

Every area of Scotland has a community policing team.

Your community team works with local partners to:

  • listen to your concerns
  • solve local problems
  • prevent crime before it happens
  • provide reassurance and support
  • plan policing activities

You can talk to them about:

  • issues affecting your neighbourhood
  • non-emergencies
  • local patrols
  • crime prevention advice
  • how we work with other local services
  • support you can get after an incident
