Two men arrested and charged following drugs recovery in North Lanarkshire
Two men have been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in North Lanarkshire.
Around 9am on Friday, 14 March, 2025, officers executed a search warrant on Wood Crescent, Motherwell. Quantities of heroin, cocaine, and cannabis were recovered, with an estimated street value of £145,950.
The men, aged 50 and 19, are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, 17 March, 2025.
Detective Sergeant Kevin Sherry said: "We remain committed to tackling the supply of illegal drugs and disrupting criminal activity in our communities.
"This seizure highlights our dedication to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
"The public plays a vital role in helping us target those involved in drug-related crime, and we encourage anyone with concerns to come forward. Even the smallest piece of information could assist our enquiries and help us take action."
