Man arrested and charged in connection with alleged Edinburgh City Centre break-in

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged break-in and alleged attempted break-in and theft from three addresses in the City Centre area of Edinburgh between Sunday, 2 and Monday, 10 March, 2025.

He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, 14 March. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Constable Sarah Brotherston said: “We understand break-ins can affect members of the community and we have additional officers in the area for reassurance.

“If you have any concerns, please speak to the officers or call police on 101.”
