Electrical transformers stolen from Hillington
Officers are appealing for information following a theft from a commercial premises in Hillington.
Between 9.20pm to 11.05pm on Tuesday, 25 March, a business in Atholl Avenue was broken into. The yard security gate was overcome and a significant quantity of high value electrical transformers were taken. The crime was reported to police the following morning.
Enquiries carried out so far have established at least four people were involved. There was also a white HGV tractor unit and black three-door saloon vehicle seen in the area around this time.
Officers are reviewing relevant CCTV, not just from the area but further afield, for any additional information.
Detective Constable Rebecca Daily said: "I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time to think back and consider if they saw something which seemed suspicious. If anyone has dashcam or recording devices, please check your footage and pass any relevant images to us. Any small piece of information could assist in our enquiries."
