Firearms officers attend disturbance in East Kilbride

Around 1.20pm on Sunday, 9 March, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Mount Cameron Drive South area of East Kilbride.

Officers attended and two men, both aged 48, were arrested in connection.

There are no reported injuries.

Specialist firearms officers also attended.

There will remain a police presence in the area while enquiries continue. Anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.
