Appeal for information following crash in Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash in Glasgow.
Around 5.25pm on Tuesday, 25 March, 2025, we were called to a two-vehicle crash involving a white Citroen Berlingo van and a black Mercedez-Benz Vito taxi on London Road, at the junction with Tobago Street.
Emergency services attended and a 79-year-old female passenger travelling in the taxi was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she died on Saturday, 29 March.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
Sergeant Jim Dewar said: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died at this very difficult time.
“We’ve been carrying out extensive enquiries and, while we’ve already gathered CCTV and witness statements, I’m appealing for anyone else who saw what happened or has dash-cam footage to come forward.”
