Appeal for information after two cars vandalised in Prestonpans

Officers are appealing for information after two cars were vandalised in Prestonpans.

The first car was vandalised between 7.30pm on Friday, 21 February and 9.30am on Saturday, 22 February, 2025 on Monks Meadow.

The second car, on the same street, was vandalised between 10.30pm on Friday, 28 February and 9.15am on Saturday, 1 March, 2025.

The incidents are being treated as linked.

Constable Frances Stevenson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone on Monks Meadow or Rowberry Walk with private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0924 of 22 February, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
