Appeal following housebreaking and car theft in Piperdam

Detectives are appealing for information following a housebreaking and the theft of two vehicles in Piperdam.

Around 4am on Tuesday, 4 March, 2025, an address on Osprey Rise was broken into, and two cars, a blue Audi RS3 and a blue Audi RS5, were stolen from outside the property. The vehicles have since been recovered in the Edinburgh area.

Detective Constable Gavin Cathro said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible, and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or has any information that could assist to contact us.

"We would also ask anyone with dash-cam, ring doorbell or CCTV footage from around the time of the theft to check their footage and get in touch if they have captured anything that could help."
