Appeal following a serious assault on a bus in Dundee
Officers are appealing for information following an assault that happened on a bus on Liff Road in Dundee on Friday, 21 March.
A man got on an Xplore bus around 6.10pm outside the Whip Inn and assaulted a 17-year-old male youth passenger before making off in an unknown direction.
The youth sustained serious injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
The man is described as white, around 5ft 10ins, slim build, aged late teens and was wearing a dark hoodie and dark-coloured jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Jerra Mentiply said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspect and we are asking anyone who saw what happened or knows who the man is to get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area at the time can you please check dash-cam to see if you have captured anything that would help with our investigation.”
