Appeal after serious crash in West Dunbartonshire
Road policing officers are appealing for information after a crash involving a single car in West Dunbartonshire.
The incident happened on Auchincarron Road in Jamestown around 3.15pm on Saturday, 15 March, 2025.
It involved a silver Vauxhall Astra which left the road and struck a tree.
The 39-year-old male driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. His condition is described as life threatening.
A male passenger, also 39, was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment. His injuries are described as serious.
The road was closed for around 10 hours to allow for an investigation at the scene and has since reopened.
Sergeant Scott Miller, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: Our enquiries into this crash are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch.
“We would be particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash.
“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 2038 of 15 March, 2025.”
