Men arrested and charged following an attempted murder in Castle Douglas

Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Castle Douglas.

Officers attended at a property on Wallace Court in the town around 11.30pm on Thursday, 2 January.

A 38-year-old man was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The three men, aged 29, 39 and 49, are due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 January, 2025.
