Man charged following disturbance and assault on Mill Road, Cambuslang

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident on Mill Road, Cambuslang on Thursday, 16 January, 2025.

Around 4.05pm we received a report of two females, aged 16 and 41, having been assaulted in a property on Mill Road. They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 January, 2025.

Detective Inspector Gary Smillie said: “I would again like to extend my thanks to nearby residents who were impacted by this incident for their patience and cooperation and the other emergency services for their support.”
