Man arrested following investigation into fatal road crash in Cumbernauld

A 39-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into a fatal road crash on Sunday, 26 May, 2024. 

The incident happened around 8.10am on Greenfaulds Road, Cumbernauld. Emergency services attended and a 49-year-old man, William Henderson, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.

The 39-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
