Man arrested following fatal crash in Paisley

An 18-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a car in Paisley.

The incident happened around 7pm on Tuesday, 31 December, 2024, on Barrhead Road.

Elizabeth Kennedy, 70, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man has been released pending further enquiries.
