Man arrested and charged following £93,000 cannabis seizure in Cowdenbeath
A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Cowdenbeath.
Around 11.50am on Wednesday, 15 January, 2025, officers acting under warrant searched a property on Barclay Street, Cowdenbeath. A quantity of cannabis with an estimated street value of around £93,000 was seized.
The man is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Thursday, 16, January, 2025.
Sergeant John Nicol said: “This seizure is part of our ongoing efforts to tackle the supply of illegal drugs and disrupt criminal activity within our communities.
“It highlights our commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
