Further appeal to trace Claire Halliday missing from Isle of Mull
Police continue to appeal for any information that could help trace Claire Halliday, missing from the Isle of Mull, whose birthday is today, Thursday, 23 January, 2025.
Searches and enquiries are continuing in the area with local officers being assisted by partner agencies and specialist resources including police dogs, the marine unit and the air support unit.
Claire was last seen on Tuesday, 7 January, 2025 in the Fionnphort area.
She is 5ft 4ins and of slim build with shoulder-length, brown hair. When last seen she was wearing a white jacket with a cream-coloured hood or hat and white trousers.
Inspector Matthew Shaw said: "Today is Claire's 36th birthday and there is nothing more we want than for her to be found and reunited with family.
"Unfortunately, despite significant enquiries and extensive searches, she has not been seen or heard from since she was last seen in the Fionnphort area on Tuesday, 7 January, 2025.
"Her family is understandably extremely upset about her being missing and not knowing where she is.
"I would again urge anyone who was been in the local area or anyone who has any information, no matter how small it may seem, to please get in touch with us."
