Appeal following wilful vehicle fire in Port Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Port Glasgow.
The incident happened around 7pm on Friday, 17 January, 2025, in Burnside Avenue, near to Southfield Avenue, when a black Volvo XC90 car was deliberately set on fire.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no injuries.
Detective Constable Ruth Elder said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
