Appeal following serious assault in Glasgow city centre

Officers are releasing images of a man they wish to speak to as part of their investigation into a serious assault.

On Sunday, 3 March, 2024, between 3am and 3.30am, a woman was outside a nightclub in Mitchell Street in Glasgow city centre when she was assaulted after speaking with a group of two men and two women.

The incident was reported to police on Friday, 8 March, 2024. Officers are issuing images of a man they think will be able to assist them with their enquiries.

Detective Constable John McMahon said: “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries and I am appealing to the man in the image or to anyone who recognises him to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2950 of Friday, 8 March, 2024.
