Two men arrested and charged for drugs offences in the North East

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences in the North East.

Around 6.25am on Tuesday, 18 February, 2025 officers executed warrants at premises in Tower Place, Elgin, South Road, Garmouth and Speymouth Drive, Mosstodloch.

Cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine with an estimated street value of just over £814,000 and £22,500 were recovered.

Two men, aged 35 and 34, are expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025.

Detective Sergeant Sam Harris said: “It’s vital that we prevent illicit drugs reaching our local communities. We encourage anyone with information or concerns about drug-related activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
