Man sentenced in relation to drugs offences in Aberdeen
A man has been sentenced in relation to drugs offences in Aberdeen.
John Gallagher, 35, pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and amphetamines on 15 January 2025.
Today, Friday, 21 February, 2025, at the High Court in Edinburgh, Gallagher was sentenced to seven years in prison.
Between July 2023 and 21 February 2024, officers recovered class A and B controlled drugs from various properties in Aberdeen.
Detective Sergeant Sam Harris of Aberdeen CID said: “This sentencing reflects our continued commitment to tackling the illegal supply of drugs in Aberdeen. It also highlights our dedication to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
“Information from the public is crucial in helping us to combat those involved in drugs activity in our communities. It is only as a community working together that we can tackle drug dealing activity.
