A man has been sentenced to ten years in prison after being convicted of sexual offences in the Ayrshire area.
Shaun Munro, 29, committed these crimes between 2019 and 2021 against three women and a child.
He was sentenced to ten years in prison at the High Court in Paisley on Friday, 14 February, 2025 having previously been found guilty at the High Court in Glasgow on Friday, 13 December, 2024. He has also been placed on the sex offenders register for an indefinite period of time.
Detective Sergeant Ainsley Clark said: “Munro is an abusive individual who subjected the women and child to a prolonged period of abuse and showed utter disregard to the impact his crimes would have on them.
"We acknowledge how difficult these enquiries can be for individuals who have been subjected to sexual abuse, and I would like to commend the assistance provided during this investigation. I hope this outcome provides those exposed to his abuse, with some sense of closure.
