Man arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Inverurie
A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Inverurie.
Officers attended at a property in the Birch Drive area of the town following reports of a possible cannabis cultivation around 9.10pm on Monday, 17 February.
“A quantity of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to £296,460 was recovered.
The man was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025.
Sergeant Emma Forbes said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to bringing those responsible for the manufacture and supply of illegal substances to justice.
“The public has an important role to assist with this and we would urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs to get in touch with us via 101.”
