Drugs seized by officers in Glasgow’s East End
Drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds have been seized by officers in Glasgow’s East End.
Around 10am on Thursday, 6 February 2025, officers from the local community policing team based at London Road searched three addresses under warrant in Barrowfield. A quantity of controlled drugs, believed to be cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £55,000, were recovered. A four-figure sum of cash along with weapons, including several knives and an imitation firearm, were also seized.
Two men, aged 23 and 27, and a 28-year-old woman, have been arrested and charged in connection with the find. It is anticipated that they will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday 7 February 2025. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
