Detectives are appealing for information following a disturbance in Kirkintilloch.

The incident happened around 5pm on Thursday, 27 February, 2025 in Donaldson Street, near to Muirhead Street.

Five men aged, 58, 57, 54, 48 and 34 have been arrested and charged.

They were expected to appear at Glasgow Sherriff Court on Friday, 28 February, 2025.

Detective Sergeant Gary Boyle of CID said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to come forward.

“I would ask residents who live in the area to check doorbell footage and motorists to check dash-cam footage, you have may have captured something that can assist our investigation.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2609 of Thursday, 27 February, 2025.”
