£200,000 of drugs recovered in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire

Drugs with an estimated value of £200,000 have been recovered at an address in Blackburn, Aberdeenshire.

Around 12.45pm on Tuesday, 11 February, we received a report of a possible cannabis cultivation at a property in Tradlin Circle.

Officers attended and an extensive cannabis cultivation of around 278 plants was discovered inside.

Four men aged 42, 34, 30 and 27 were arrested and charged in connection. They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025.

Sergeant Mark Adam said: "I would like to pass on my thanks to the community as this enforcement action was only possible due to information provided by members of the public.

"Serious and organised crime remains a priority, and we are committed to detecting and disrupting criminal activity. We rely on the public to provide us with information to help us to do so.’’
