Drugs valued at £100,000 recovered from Cardonald, Glasgow

Officers in Glasgow have seized controlled drugs worth around £100,000.

On Saturday, 8 February 2025, officers acting on intelligence searched a property in Tarfside Oval, Cardonald, recovering cannabis with a street value in the region of £100,000.

A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 10 February, 2025.

Inspector Kaeren Muir said: "We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting sale of illegal substances and preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.

“Information from the public is crucial to our work and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about drug-related activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
