Break-in and theft at house in Tweedbank
Detectives at Galashiels are appealing for information after a break-in and theft at a house in Tweedbank on Saturday, 1 February, 2025.
On Monday, 3 February, 2025, officers received a report of a house on The Beeches broken into. Following enquiries, it has been established that this took place around 12.10am on Saturday morning and a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
Detective Constable Nicky Batten said: “Our investigation is continuing to trace those responsible for this crime. We have been carrying out enquiries and studying CCTV from in and around the local area.
“A small blue hatchback car was seen in The Beeches around the time of the break-in and left the street in the direction of Weavers Linn.
“I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious, or a car matching this description in the area to contact us. Anyone with information or footage that may assist our enquiry should contact 101 quoting incident number 2363 of 3 February.
