Appeal for information following crash on A9, Airthrey Road, Stirling
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a pedestrian and a car in Stirling.
Emergency services were called to the A9, Airthrey Road, around 10am on Thursday, 6 February, 2025.
The pedestrian, a 23-year-old woman, was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow in a critical condition.
The driver of the Kia Niro was not injured.
The road was closed to allow for crash investigations to be carried out and reopened around 2.10pm.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Road Policing Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick said: “I’m appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and saw what happened to get in contact with police.
“I’d also ask drivers with dashcams to please review your footage to see if you’ve captured anything which may assist our investigation.”
