Appeal for information following assault in Brechin

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Brechin.

A 46-year-old man was assaulted on Montrose Street, around 8pm on Monday, 3 February, 2025.

He did not require hospital treatment.

The male suspect is described as being around 5ft 10in in height, of average build and bald. He was wearing dark jeans and a dark jumper.

Detective Sergeant Dave Fearn said: “Our enquiries have been ongoing and I am now appealing for the
assistance of the public.

“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV to contact us.”
