A 16-year-old male youth was arrested and charged, and two male youths, both aged 13, were charged, all in connection with pyrotechnics offences. Following extensive enquiries, we are now appealing for anyone who was at the match and has information to come forward.
Chief Inspector Christopher Dow said: “We’re carrying out extensive CCTV work in relation to these offences and continue to liaise with the club to identify those involved.
“Football matches should be a safe environment for players and spectators and this type of reckless conduct will not be tolerated.
“I’d ask anyone who was at the game, or has any information, to get in touch. If you have pictures or mobile phone footage from inside the stadium, please review it and bring anything of significance to our attention.
“I would also like to thank the majority of fans for their conduct at matches and assure them we work closely with a range of partners to maintain public safety and minimise disruption.”
