Appeal following altercation in Perth

Officers are appealing for information following a report of a possible assault in the George Street area of Perth that happened around 1.20pm on Wednesday, 19 February.

A man and a woman were seen having an altercation but it is not known if anyone was injured or not.

The woman is described as white, around 5ft 2ins, with blond hair and she was wearing a long camouflage coat and a scarf.

The man is described as around 5ft 10ins with brown hair and a dark complexion, and a slight moustache. He was wearing a navy puffer style coat and dark skinny jogging bottoms.

They both spoke with Eastern European accents.

Police Constable Leanne Ritchie said: “We need to check that those involved in this altercation are safe and well.

“We are asking the man and woman or anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.”
