Appeal after serious crash on Milton Street, Glasgow
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on Milton Street, Glasgow.
Around 11.55am on Friday, 31 January 2025, a Peugeot 3008 car failed to stop for officers on Kyle Street, Glasgow before travelling along Dobbies Loan towards Milton Street, when the same vehicle then struck a Mercedes A180 car.
Emergency services attended and the 27-year-old male driver of the Peugeot was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He was later released and subsequently arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
The 25-year-old male passenger of the Peugeot was also taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured.
Milton Street was closed for around 10 hours while investigations were carried out.
Sergeant Nick Twigg of Glasgow Road Policing said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam or private CCTV footage that could assist to contact us.”
