Appeal after parked van struck by vehicle on Isle of Barra

Officers on the Isle of Barra are appealing for information after a parked van was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop in Castlebay on Sunday, 9 February, 2025.

Between 1am and 1.15am, a white Ford Transit parked at Ciosmul Cottages in Castlebay was struck, causing significant damage.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle involved and its driver. Officers are appealing to anyone with information that may assist their enquiries to contact 101 quoting reference number 0894 of 9 February.
