More arrests following large-scale disturbance in Glasgow city centre last year

Two further men have been arrested following an investigation into a large-scale disturbance on Sunday, 15 December, 2024 in and around the city centre of Glasgow.

On Thursday, 3 April, 2025, officers executed warrants in Cambuslang and Barrhead. The men, aged, 18 and 20, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident and are scheduled to appear from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 4 April, 2025.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “This investigation remains ongoing as we continue to trace those involved. I would appeal to anyone who has any information that could assist our investigation to contact us via 101."
