Three men arrested and charged following the death of a man in Douglas

Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 35-year-old, Joe Buchanan, in Springhill Street, Douglas on Sunday, 13 April, 2025.

Mr Buchanan died at the scene following an incident on the street around 8.35pm on Sunday night.

All three men, aged 21,40 and 41, are due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 22 April, 2025.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
