Investment and insurance broker in Dumfries arrested in connection with fraud and embezzlement

A 69-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with fraud and embezzlement in the Dumfries area while acting as an investment and insurance broker.

He is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.

Further enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 2071 of 26 March, 2025.
