Man arrested and charged in connection with theft and shoplifting in the North East

A 59-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with shoplifting and theft in the areas of Aberdeen and Deeside.

The seven reported incidents happened between Wednesday, 26 March and Sunday, 6 April, 2025.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 8 April, 2025.

Sergeant Mark Adam said: “I would like to the thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

“I would remind anyone who sees any suspicious activity in their community to report to police immediately.”
