Two men jailed after £100k worth of drugs seized in Dundee
Two men have been jailed for drugs offences in Dundee.
Darren Towns, 35, was sentenced to 43 months in prison and Shaun Petrie, 31, was sentenced to 34 months imprisonment when they appeared at the Sheriff Court in Dundee today.
Officers searched a property on Alloway Place in Dundee on Thursday, 24 March, 2022 after receiving intelligence that the pair were involved in the supply of Class A drugs.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of around £100,000 was seized.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie said: "This investigation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“I want to reassure the public that day in day out officers are working hard to disrupt the sale and supply of illegal drugs. To those involved in serious and organised crime, we will target you and your associates.
