Two men charged after cocaine worth an estimated £486k recovered in Dundee
Two men have been arrested and charged after cocaine worth an estimated street value of £486,000 was recovered in Dundee.
Officers stopped the men in Glamis Street around 6pm on Thursday, 19 September, 2024, as part of an intelligence-led operation and discovered a significant quantity of the Class A drug.
Both men, aged 23 and 63, were arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences and were due to appear before Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday, 20 September, 2024.
Detective Sergeant Rachel Webster said: “This recovery demonstrates our determination to disrupt drugs activity in our communities and protect members of the public from the harm these illegal substances can cause.
“It also highlights our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
