Officers alongside Scottish Prison Service hold day of action in the HMP Low Moss area
Officers alongside the Scottish Prison Service have held a day of action in the HMP Low Moss area.
The day, held on Thursday, 29 August, 2024, aimed to help detect and deter illegal activity in the area.
A 52-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 30 August. Three men and a woman were reported in connection with road traffic offences. One woman was also issued with a road traffic ticket.
One man was issued a Recorded Police Warning for a drugs offence.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “This builds on our routine policing as we work to tackle criminality in and around prisons.
“We work closely with partners and members of the public to help keep our communities safe. I would urge anyone with information or concerns about issues in their area to come forward. Information can be passed to police via 101 or to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
