Man convicted of attempted murder in Jedburgh in 2022
A man has been convicted of attempted murder following a crash in Jedburgh in 2022.
On Wednesday, 7 December, 2022 a car crashed into a building on Market Place, Jedburgh.
Today, Monday, 9 September, 2024, William McBurnie, 57, pled guilty at the High Court in Livingston.
Detective Chief Inspector Bob Campbell said: “This was a deliberate and reckless act which put the lives of others in danger.
“I would like to thank the victims for their strength and assistance throughout this investigation.
“Such acts of violence will not be tolerated, and Police Scotland remains committed to pursuing those responsible of such crimes and bringing them to justice.”
