Man charged following drugs recovery in Dundee

A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences in Tayside.

On the morning of Tuesday, 24 September, 2024 officers executed a drugs warrant at a premises on Fintryside in Dundee.

Cocaine with an estimated value of £20,500 was recovered as well as £5,000 in cash and other items linked to the supply of drugs.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

DC Luke Doogan, Serious & Organised Crime (SOC) Team said: “We are committed to tackling the supply and distribution of drugs to make our communities safer.

“This investigation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Information from the public is vital. If you have any concerns around the supply of drugs in your area, please contact us and we will fully investigate.”
