James Denholm jailed for sexual offences in Aberdeen
A 34-year-old man has been jailed for two years and eight months at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Monday, 2 September, 2024, following an extensive police investigation into a number of sexual offences in the Aberdeen area.
James Denholm pled guilty at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 22 July, 2024, to 16 charges of voyeurism and stalking that took place between 2008 and 2023.
Detective Inspector Mark Lambley said: “Denholm now faces the consequences of his despicable and distressing actions. Our thoughts remain with his victims who had their privacy violated. We hope that his sentencing will bring them some comfort.
“Sexual crime of any nature will not to be tolerated. We will thoroughly investigate any reports made to us, no matter how much time has passed. I would urge people to come forward and you can be assured of being fully supported by officers and our partner agencies.”
