Further arrests following intensification week in Tayside
Officers in Dundee arrested and charged a further three people in connection with drugs offences as part of the intensification week in Tayside.
On Friday, 27 September, 2024, four drugs search warrants were executed in the Douglas and Craigie areas of the city. Two men aged 42 and 41, along with a 30-year-old woman were arrested and charged.
A 30-year-old man was also cautioned and charged in connection with drugs offences.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,000, along with £370 worth of cannabis and £30 worth of heroin, along with £12,000 in cash was recovered.
Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The intensification week ran from Monday, 23 September to Friday, 27 September, 2024 across Dundee, Angus and Perth and Kinross
Police Constable Matty Alexander of Operation Argonite said: “We are determined to make Tayside safer. We will use all resources at a disposal to rid drugs out of our local communities.
