Boat stolen from Loch Lomond Marina recovered

Officers have recovered a boat that was stolen from Loch Lomond Marina on Thursday, 19 September, 2024.

The Whaly 500 red rib boat was taken around 11.30pm and sailed left in the direction of the angling club at Rosshead.

Enquiries remain ongoing to trace those responsible for the theft.

Detective Colin Nichol said: "We would like to thank the public for their help in tracing the boat after we issued our appeal.

"Our investigation into the theft is ongoing and we ask that anyone with any information contacts us as soon as possible."
